I've also been playing around a bit more with Ableton Live 12 and some instruments on my Mac. It's still a bit convoluted how different brands have their own control centers or content delivery systems, but I still find the overall experience of music production much nicer on Mac. Something about how the sound system is designed makes it a lot less painful than on Windows, where I constantly had stutters, dropouts or the inability to listen to anything else while my DAW was open. 🤷‍♀️

Here's something I cooked up quickly while trying to transcribe notes down from a song for Void & Verity:

Keep in mind that there hasn't been much tweaking to the expression outside of some dynamics and reverb, it's mostly just to get the MIDI notes correct for notation. But being able to put this together in an afternoon even just on my small laptop screen and touchpad (and MIDI piano) was great! Ableton is definitely one of the apps that benefits from having a large resolution screen though lol. That and GameMaker.
